The other day I ate Kamameshi at a restaurant in Fukuoka.
It is rice and other stuff steamed in an iron pot.
It comes in individual servings.
Usually it is flavored rice.
But nowadays there are many types.
We ate a pork cutlet one and a sansai one (Japanese wild plant).
Many times you have to wait to be served because it takes some time to cook, but I like Kamameshi all the same.
