These are alleys in Cadaques Spain.
It was a pretty town.
The street which has this wall painting is Yeongnam Daegu-ro street.
This street was a highway which linked the south and north of Korea during the Joseon Dynasty.
It was a major thoroughfare where people traveled and culture was exchanged.
Now the street is a short alley.
And the other photo here is of people making traditional Chinese medicines.
I came back to Japan already.
But I will continue posting about Korea along with Japanese staff.
This Jingolmok alley is the most representative alley of Daegu’s so-called modern culture alleys.
And it preserves the look as it was 100 years ago.
I am staying in the town called Daegu.
It takes a little over one hour from Busan airport.
I walked around the center of town.
There are many kinds of alleys, like ‘shoes alley’, ‘cafe alley,’ ‘jewelry street’, ‘hardware ally,’ ‘fashion street’,,,and many more.
It is an interesting town.
